Apple In Talks With TV Networks To Build Set-Top-Box For Live TV
August 16, 2012 | Jordan Crosby+Today the Wall Street Journal has said that Apple are in talks to release a set-top-box which would allow you to watch live television and also on demand content
Apple Inc. is in talks with some of the biggest U.S. cable operators about letting consumers use an Apple device as a set-top box for live television and other content, according to people familiar with the matter.
This is not said to be an update to the current $99 TV but for the long rumoured Apple TV Set or a totally new product
It is also worth noting that earlier the company filed a new patent application showing an Apple TV interface which would work really well with Cable TV networks
